Lola has 8 different layers. I struggled to make her grey hair tones, in comparison to how easy I found it making brown tones for Papi. The final color I used isn’t even grey, it's a bit lighter than the black used for the outline, but that was okay because Lola is a baby Yorki and still has really dark hair. I took two days to create my final prints. The realistic version looked beautiful even with a few small mistakes on the tracing of the layers, but that's the beauty behind screen printing, every design is unique because of its errors. The abstract version was the outline of Lola, on three different fluorescent card and then cut out in order to make a collage combining the pink, yellow and green card. Lola is my female Yorki, so I added two red roses to the design to represent not only her femininity but also a bit of the flamenco culture behind her name.
