The portraits I produced are of my family, I wanted to show my family tree within my collection of portraits, the meaning behind this, is because culture is inherited through elders, its not a thing you can study for it is learnt through ones parents and grandparents, it is within your nature. It’s not an individual phenomena it’s a social thing, its a process that continues growing.
